King's Sea 2: Dev Diary 4

Hey folks!
Yesterday I changed it so that instead of it being the full resolution acrylic painting for the background, it is now a small region of it.
The pixels actually fit really well in the ASCII aesthetic. I don't know what folks' opinions on that are!
I also made it so Rivers, Oceans and Lakes all have different paintings it draws from. So they all have a more appropriate esthetic.
I still didn't get around to adding the fishermen.
It's a bit complicated, heh.
I think I have no idea how I could implement it in a way that makes sense for my... future ambitions...

I'm also working on ensuring that all the text utilizes block files. Additionally, I've confirmed that these block files are both exported and read correctly. This means that when the game is released, it will be fully moddable right from the start—which was the core idea behind the game in the first place.
And so it all continues...
