King's Sea 2: Dev Diary 3
Today I added a bit of polish and added some little animations and sound effects.
Already feels a lot more alive than the original Kings Sea!
I also made it so different species can start in different water bodies.
Added a "random" water preference. That makes encounters more interesting with some creatures.
I want to add the fishermen etc today. But with the full time job and my other project I didn't get to that today!
I made various other tweaks as well and started randomizing the logs (which is all moddable using the block files of course!).
I did record this though!
Flatworms can live for over a thousand years, but they also have a high chance of dying from "old age" each year which is why this happened, lol. Additionally, the old age death check currently occurs every encounter when it should really be stretched out over the time scale of the fish game mode. (3 months per encounter right now)
Edit: Heres it With The Right Timenscale
King's Sea II
