King's Sea 2: Dev Diary 1

I recently started this new project as a way to learn Godot.
Kings Sea 2 – the sequel to my previous game, Kings Sea!
It's meant to be much more simulationist, and I've built it so that it's fully moddable and fully localizable right from the start!
It's going quite well!
Today I added creature frequencies based on the species in your encounters, as well as plants and detritus.
The fun thing about this post is that it won't be live until the game is live—whenever that happens! So, consider this a personal diary of my development which no one wil sea until release!
Godot is really powerful. Everything just kind of works, and it feels like there's so much less overhead!
I'm really liking it so far!
I'm aiming for an almost dwarf fortress style simulationism. Though any game based on odell lake will be much simpler!
But ive already added some df like things like death from old age :P
