So many changes! And a flashlight!
A have so many changes to list this time around!
Also, apprently i accidentally uploaded dr4x builds instead of noutopia builds here last week and failed to notice.
This is now, obviously resolved.
Changes:
-Improved climbing on low gravity.
-Added Flashlight when space walking (just press f).
-Added new space debris.
-Added some beautiful new planet models.
-Rewrote gravity mechanics three times until I made it feel good, now its more similar to outer wilds lol.
-Improved UI, now smaller and more user-friendly.
-More buttons at the bottom to explain player actions (to be replaced with a less intrusive tutorial later).
-Sometimes the space debris is just a big flying trash bag
-Debris now properly orbits the life planet.
-Rare corroded debris added around Smogcrest.
-Many new visual effects. Eg screen covering with water when in Emberstorm atmosphere:

-Added three types of debris orbiting Shattersea:
--Red debris: Moves in a fast, chaotic manner, small and hard to hit. But also gives a lot of score/credits when destroyed.
--Green debris: Stable, slow orbits, quite large. Gives a small amount score/credits when destroyed.
--Yellow debris: Stable orbit, but very fast, medium-sized. Gives a medium amount score/credits when destroyed.
-Asteroids now give less credits when destroyed (you could stack money too fast)
-New planet Level of Details (LODs) for ShatterSea and Frostspire.
-15 New music tracks courtesy of Stellardrone
-Completely changed how ship physics works, should be easier to move around and less clunky now based on feedback from brother in law
Next Steps:
- Implement variable planetary drag based on atmosphere (easier to land on Smogcrest, harder on Frostspire)
- Add water features
- Develop shops and stat screen
- Create character conversations

I'm going on vacation for a week with family starting Saturday. I disconnect on those weeks (don't bring my computer, etc.), so no updates then. But I will come back with fresh eyes and new ideas, as I always bring a notebook.
It's been interesting working on something other than DR4X. This game is more photogenic, so maybe more people will take a look. Who knows.
My adorable doggo Bella is doing fantastic! BTW! I woudl take a picture but im tired and its nearly midnight .
