DR4X Friday build #2: 7/16/2021


Lots of changes this week, as usual, but this time with many screenshots at the bottom, enjoy reading :)

Changes:

-Added new vigilance mode

---How this works: Its a button a lot like the swap button, except its a shield. If a unit has a free action point, clicking it will put unit in vigilance mode which makes them get ignored by the next unit button, and if an enemy unit enters their attack range they will attack it for free at the beginning of their next turn and next turn you can set them into vigilance again if they have free action points. This is basically like a less op over watch mode from xcom and the AI can do it to and its very effective with it.

-Rebalanced all dark force options

-Made all dark forces buildings smaller and weaker

-Units no longer show up in fog of war, buildings still do though

-Cannot mouse over things in fog of war to get info anymore, can not click on things in fog of war 

-Fixed visual bug with many of the buildings in the game including the Beatle Lair, the Towns and settlements and so on that made them float above or sink into the terrain

-Fixed possible game breaking bug with mushrooms

-Added killing the Strigoi as the win condition to first scenario finally so no wits Take Town -> Destroy Castle -> Kill Strigoi

--This actually required a huge rewrite to how i do triggers so spawned in things can count for win conditions, which means I can do a lot more cool things with this now

-Reworked scenario triggers so that conditions can vary and I don't have to hard code those conditions, updated all scenarios to new system

--Added many new triggers and conditionals

-Commands can now be colored, in various ways, text and background

-Centered week progressing pop up in the middle of the screen

--Also recolored it etc

-Added special grace period to main menu because the FUN was getting in the way of various youtubers' intros and outros

-Ai now more likely to spam spammable units

-Commands are now displayed in a conquest of Elysium style scroll menu, instead of small crammed together buttons, and also more dynamic so i can add as many as I want to each unit.

-Can now scroll scrollbars with mouse scroll wheel without zooming in and out the map, that was annoying people

-Fixed bugs with missions where treasure counted for win condition, treasure no longer counts for win condition
